My mission is to inspire and empower others so that they can live a fulfilling, joy filled and purposeful life through physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being’.
Originally trained as a Rogerian Therapist, and over the years developing skills, qualifications and experience specialising in the field of sexual abuse, domestic violence, CEN, developmental trauma.
Working in the field of Trauma lead me to Somatic Trauma Therapy and I trained with Babette Rothchild in Cambridge Body Psychotherapy Centre for a year. This introduced me to body psychotherapy, body workers and Rolfers where I discovered Somatic Experiencing. I completed Somatic Experiencing (SE) three years in Spain and now assist in SE training in Spain and Croatia
It is a pleasure to keep up with lead authorities and experts in Trauma. Studying the science of our bodies and sharing the theory during session to educate and understand the process of recovery is an empowering tool.
I am also fascinated and influenced by complementary healing, plants, herbs, oils, energy, crystals and ancestral teachings that connect us with the elements, native medicine and the miracle healings.
I live in The Lake District and am incredibly grateful to be in such a beautiful part of the world.
Being an animal lover and taking time in nature with Bella is my most powerful resource and helps to keep me healthy and happy.
I started my personal therapy 35 years ago in a Gestalt Therapy group and the journey began. Becoming a Therapist almost 30 years ago and loving both the professional and personal development.
